Ladies

If I could choose one word to describe 2014, it would be ‘challenging.’ Sometimes things run along smoothly, our efforts produce measurable and pleasurable results, and all seems right with the world. Then there are those other times. God is in all our seasons. To realize this is the wonderful result of the more challenging times.

This is a critical year for New Testament church of God. God’s leadership into the direction of Spiritual Formation, and proper commitment to the ministry.

At the same time, we yearn to fulfill the mission and purpose for which God has called us. Empty seats need to be filled because each empty seat represents one of ‘God’s missing persons’ who has yet to know the richness of his grace and the joy of living in his community. It is my sincere desire that God will motivate all of us towards reaching beyond our walls to ‘God’s missing people’ in our lives. Much is at stake, but God has given us much as well. Peter makes these truths clear in this passage:

 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the

Praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the

People of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your

Soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. (1 Peter 2:9–12)

The top challenge that we have as women is to stand firm on our ground to achieve our 5 years goals. This is a tough journey! But God is plowing it for a harvest that is yet to be but, I am convinced, not far off. While the cost for being a follower of Jesus will increase in the

Years ahead, so will God’s empowerment through his Holy Spirit. Truly we live in an amazing time and in an amazing

Place. I know the best is yet to be.
